16/June/2008 We returned to khi last night from the
long march. I simply cant believe that I was part of this historic event. It
was phenomenal. Leaving karachi with a big crowd. dancing in the streets of
interior sindh with jubilation. having "daal roti" on the road-side
hotels. Chanting anti-musharraf slogans everywhere we go. ignoring the scorching
heat and distributing leaflets. being showered by rose petals by every
welcoming party in sindh and punjab. More. History made at Long March 14/June/2008 History
made an entire cross section of civil society of Pakistan learned and
transformed from its own struggle against rules from above. Long march ended today
at 6 am with thousands of agitators sending a strong message to those in
corridor of power that they know how to mobilize nationwide and the next time
the rulers will not have a chance. More. From Lahore to
Rawalpindi 13/June/2008 We are rite now in Rawalpindi we arrived here early in the
morning around 6 am. The
weather is fantastic. We
left Lahore last nite amid roaring crowds in thousands. It was mind blowing, so many people
were on the streets. we got on top of our bus and started shouting slogans. the people responded immediately. More. Crossing Sindh into Punjab 11/June/2008 THE
LONG MARCH CARRYING MEBERS OF INTERNATIONAL SOCIALISTS AND MEMEBERS OF
PEOPLES RESISTANCE HAS CROSSED MIRPUR MATHELO and has now entered punjab . we
are now in sadiqabad . After every ten minute or so theres a welcoming party
of political workers or dist lawyers . they shout slogans and shower us with
flowers and rose petals and serve us cold water to satiate the thirst , last
night we reached sukkur amid a grand welcome by sukkur bar where Ali Ahmad

Our bus was carrying 25 members. They

Urdu Watch Protest Video of NTU Student Strike 19/April/2008 18/April/2008 Hundreds of
Faisalabad National Textile University students are protesting against
military methods and recognition of their rights. Since April 02 the protest
escalated and on April 15 over 250 students went all the way up to Islamabad
to protest against denial of rights. They are protesting against maltreatment
and denial of engineering council recognition. Since Feb 18 a wide range of
student and workers protests are taking place across Pakistan. Among them is
a protest campaign by a large number of students of National Textile
University in Faisalabad city largest province of Pakistan, Punjab. The
